NAGUILIAN is a landlocked municipality of the coastal Province of La Union. The Basi Festival is held annually in the celebration of it's one-town-one product "the basi" an organic wine from sugarcane. The town is also know for it's vinegar. Patronal Fiesta is also done during the 1st week of May in honor of the patron saint Saint Augustine of Hippo.
If you're coming from the City of Pines - Baguio City one must ride an hour or less through a public utility buses bound to Abra/Vigan or Laoag since it will pass through the Naguilian road. Coming from the capital city of the Philippines Manila one must ride bound to Abra/Vigan/Laoag through public utility buses such Partas, Maria de Leon and among others, then you must stop at the Municipality of Bauang, La Union then you take a jeepney ride from the municipality to Naguilian then stop at the Naguilian Plaza.
