The celebration of a weeklong “Raniag Twilight Festival” in Vigan City kick offs from Wednesday until All Saints’ Day on November 1. This year’s celebration of the said festival was participated by the residents and officials of the 39 barangays of the said city.
The festival opens from “candle floaters” activity which will be held in evening at the Vigan River Cruise Dock in Baranagay Beddeng Laud, Vigan City followed by the “acoustic competition” at the Celedonia Garden. The other highlights and activities of the festival are the following:
VPH Halloween and costume party at Vigan Plaza Hotel (Thursday);
Search for Miss Silka Ilocandia 2011 & flight of sky lanterns (Friday);
Trick or Treat and Raniag Street Dancing Competition (Saturday);
Raniag Electric Street parade and free concert at the Plaza (Sunday);
Café Leona Halloween Concert (Monday);
Embassit band presentation (Tuesday).
Another fun-filled activities brought to you by the officialdom of Vigan City to the locals as well as to tourists this upcoming All Saint's Day.
