The City Government of Baguio formally launched the opening of the 2011 Edition of Baguio Flower Festival which is also popularly known as the Panagbenga Festival.

The Festival theme this year is : “The Environment and Community in Harmony.”
The most colorful parts of the festival are the street dancing of hundreds of children draped in colorful flower costumes amidst the music of drum and bugle corps, and the flower float festival where several tons of fresh temperate flowers are used to add to the galore of the occasion.
