Pistay Dayat (Sea Festival) 2013

This annual summer fest is celebrated with a week-long series of
various fun events and environmental awareness drives, concerts,
tourism and trade fairs, performances and competitions, including a
beauty pageant.
The festival began way back in the 1960's as local fishing community's simple thanksgiving to the bounty of their harvest from the famous Lingayen Gulf.
Schedule of events for this year’s sea festival includes the following: Tourism and Trade Expo,
Takayan Na Dayew (Vocal Solo Contest), San Miguel Beer Night, Beach
Pinoy Games, Poster-Making Contest, Sayawan ed Aplaya, Search for Mr.
and Ms. Sangguniang Kabataan, Doypuay Kalangweran 2013 (Youth Camp),
Family Wellness Day, Sand Sculpting Contest, Banca Parada, Beach
Volleybelles, Triathlon Invitational (Open), Paboksing Ed Gulpo and
Coronation Night of Limgas na Pangasinan.
With this year's theme: "Pisasalamat ed Talungaring na Luyag" it is simply giving thanks to the bounty from the sea and as well as to showcase their products and local mass produce of the province. Below the Schedule of Activities.
