I have been to the place for quiet sometimes due to its geographical distance from my hometown (an hour and a half). Last week, I and my friends attended a seminar at La Trinidad, Benguet and I was amazed by the thriving businesses and road infrastructure development of the town. As an observation, if we say La Trinidad to locals or even foreigners who had gone to this place it means strawberry (and of course lots of strawberry) and wherever you look aside from vegetable crops are huge plantation of strawberries.
Since the place produces large amount of strawberries, it is but just to be known that La Trinidad as the Strawberry Capital of the Philippines. And for further promotion of local produced a festival is celebrated for the local and foreign tourists, as well as thanksgiving to Almighty.
