SEAIR to launch overseas flights

Philippine budget carrier South East Air Lines (the only carrier at Clark, a former US air force base) will begin overseas flights from next week, with a service to Singapore and plan to add more routes in the new year.

SEAIR will launch the service on December 16, flying a leased Airbus A319 from its base at Clark airport north of Manila. Flights to Hong Kong, Macau and Bangkok are also planned to take of some time next year when SEAIR gets its second Airbus.

The airline company has also signed a partnership with another budget Asian carrier, Tiger Airways, and will be marketing and distributing SEAIR seats using the Singapore Company’s Internet booking system.
