Bauang, La Union will be celebrating it's Baggak Summer Festival 2012 and Global Balik-Bauang Homecoming on April 20-28, 2012. A week-long celebration of fun, colorful street dancing, beauty pageant and many more surprising activities that both locals and foreigners enjoy. The best of Bauang as to say, it's beaches and the favorite guapples and grapes that are mass produced.
Getting there: Bauang
is access from different modes of transportation. Traveling to Bauang
is easy with the nearby San Fernando International Airport located just
15 minutes' drive from the city center. Flights from Manila airport
arrive daily and take approximately 50 minutes flying time. There are
several bus services traveling from Manila to Bauang, taking around five-six hours such as Partas, Farinas, Florida, Maria De Leon and among others bound to Vigan, Abra and Laoag.
